1. UG students:
The main aim of the Bridge course is to bridge the gap between the subjects that the students have undergone during their Higher Secondary level course and the subjects they would be studying in Under Graduate level in Computer Science. As some students come from different platforms like Biology, Physics likewise, they may lack behind in programming skill and algorithmic logic. Bridge course is one of the initiatives adopted to give students the confidence and skills to successfully transition from school to college. Department of Computer Science has successfully conducted the Bridge Course programme for UG students, for the current academic year (2019 – 20). The programme was conducted on 6 th and 7 th of January 2020. It was attended by eight students, out of the total 19 students in the first-year BSc Computer Science.
2. PG Students
A bridge course was conducted by the department of Computer Science on 6th January 2020 and 7th January 2020. Among the 11 students admitted to MSc Computer Science(2019 admn) 5 non Computer Science students were participated in the course
